SAMA AL WASIL DESERT CAMP is an eco-friendly lodge located in a flat valley 192 km (2 hours drive) from Muscat, in the heart of Sharquiya in Wahiba Sands Oman. The camp is surrounded by wahiba sands dunes, so guests can enjoy the feeling of complete seclusion and escapism from the outside world.

Our accommodation consists of 37 standard chalets, 2 family chalets and 7 Sultan tents, all with generous outside patios for your personal relaxation. You will enjoy daily breakfast and dinner included in your room rate. The menu varies regularly. It does often include barbecued meats and fish brought fresh each day from the local markets, especially for you. Eating under the desert sky is always a wonderful experience, with roaring campfires. Lunch can also be provided on request.
